早前，前特首梁振英在社交媒體貼文，指政府調查民陣，教協也有必要追究。自傳出特區政府會以香港國安法調查民陣收入是否有外國資金支持，相繼有政黨及組織退出民陣。其中教協表示，考慮到最近的政治形勢，決定即時終止參與民陣的工作及會議。梁振英因而追問，教協是教師組織，參加過民陣涉嫌組織違法活動的什麼「工作」，有必要追究。

「港獨」分子前年藉着修例事件，推動種種黑暴、攬炒惡行，他們肆意堵路、放火、「私了」、打砸私人財物等街頭暴力，使得很多香港市民一直過着彷徨、恐懼、啞忍的生活狀態。不少市民當時面對着黑暴分子都是敢怒不敢言，而一些反對派的議員就利用此惡行，幹着惡意拉布、癱瘓立法會等政治攬炒，這給很多香港市民埋下了痛苦的記憶。

中央有關部門連續3天在香港開展座談、訪談等活動，就落實人大「311決定」廣泛聽取社會各界人士的意見和建議。中央出手完善香港選舉制度，全面落實「愛國者治港」，是回應香港社會求穩定、求發展的主流民意。香港選舉制度完善之後，治港者更有代表性，能夠更加廣泛凝聚力量，更好地監督和改善政府施政。中央多層次、全方位廣泛聽取香港各界意見，反映中央對香港民意的高度重視，有利構建符合香港實際情況、具有香港特色的新的民主選舉制度，令香港能夠發展有效維護國家和香港整體利益、保障港人福祉的優質民主。

全國人大「311決定」和去年的「528決定」一樣，都是解決香港現實問題的治本之策。「528決定」讓香港能夠「穩得住」，「311決定」讓香港能夠「管得好」。穩住了，管好了，香港的其他深層次問題就有了解決的條件和基礎，「一國兩制」就可以行穩致遠。
